Maryna Shefer

Since 2015, I have been participating in group and personal exhibitions. My paintings are in private collections in Germany and in European countries.Inspired by the Impressionists, I experimented with different materials and techniques and eventually settled on oil painting on canvas.
In my work, I find inspiration in opposites, their balancing and interaction. I explore the fine line between strength and weakness, between career and family, between the spiritual world and the material, and so on. The search for the golden mean has become a source of endless inspiration for me. Therefore, I strive to convey the symbiosis of contradictions in my work. To do this, I use delicate color nuances and massive horizontal strokes of oil paints that smoothly flow into landscapes, figures and other objects. My goal is to immerse the viewer in an atmosphere of harmony, where opposites merge into an amazing unity.
