Amy Ferreira

Born in Naperville Illinois, Amy now resides in west end Toronto with Husband Mark and 5 boys. Amy is Gramma to Hailey, 8,and Taylor, 7. Amy has always adored babies since she was a child..her father was a minister and Amy helped in the baby nursery every chance she got.With her own Children grown and a grand baby on the way, Amy found the art of Reborn dolls and became passionate about dolls and dollmaking.Tired of repainting the creations of other artists,Amy decided to try sculpting her own babies. In January 2007 Amy studied sculpting under some well known U.S doll sculptors and has been enjoying sculpting ever since. Amy's first vinyl reproduction of Baby Kailey in kit form,has been released in an edition of 300 pieces.daisy and Daisy awake were released in 2008 in very limited editions of 100.
