Eliana Pinzón

Born in Bogotá, Colombia but currently residing and producing in Brazil. Eliana Pinzón is a visual artist that works mainly with oil paintings and ink drawings. The artist explores portraying the human presence either materially or transcendentally and is heavily influenced by their life experiences, poetry, and the complex political situation of her country. Between each artwork, there lives every transcultural identity she lives all at once: mother, daughter, partner, activist, immigrant. Her latest works throughout her career have depicted Latin American Ancestral culture to synesthetic illustrations from musicians like Chris Cornell.
