Alejandra Caballero Santamaría

I was born in Madrid in 1974.
I lived in Indianapolis for a year.
Also traveled through Europe.
I live in Barcelona since 2003.

At the age of 18th I spent a year in Indianapolis where I graduated as a Senior in Lawrence Central High School. My art teacher, Mr Sinclair proposed me for the "500 Festival of the Arts" wich I won the fist place in the highest cathegory.
When I was 23 I graduated with honors at the Complutense University of fine Arts in Madrid.
After that I had two grants, "Manuel Lóper Villaseñor" in Ciudad Real and the prestigious grant from the Rodriguez Acosta Foundation in Granada.
Also a landscape scholarship in the small village of Ayllón in Segovia supported by the Complutense University.
Five years later I came to live to Barcelona.

Since 1999 until today an average of one exhibition each year in:
Madrid, mostly in Jorge Alcolea Gallery,
Barcelona mostly with Jordi Barnadas Gallery,
Menorca with Artara Gallery,
