And when at the age of 5 I told my mother that I wanted to be an artist, she said that I would die in poverty from hunger. But at the age of 12 he persuaded her to send me to art courses. It was not a prestigious school, but there I improved my level of painting. I really wanted to devote my life to creativity, but reality hit me in the face every time. My family never had free money, I often put on clothes after my older brother. Therefore, I quickly realized that it is impossible to be an artist in the Russian provinces. When I turned 24, I moved from this hated place to St. Petersburg, the city of my dreams. It took me years to get used to the local pace of life. And now, when I am 30 years old, I can fulfill my childhood dream. I am an artist. *** At the initial stage of my creative career, I was sure that I would bring only joy and positive to my paintings. So it was, my first photos are very cute. But then I realized that I have something to say to the world. and these are not words of gratitude. I am full of rage and pain. I started to paint conceptual and provocative pictures. Each job is an experience that I have experienced: violence, harassment, condemnation, betrayal. I show human vices. And at the same time I am a sinner myself.
