Carlos G. Dominguez born in Barcelona in 68. Since 91 has been living abroad and enriching from different cultures, being the main resident countries: Canada and Germany. At the present time he is permanently residing in Paris.In his work, a world of tensions, twisted forms, color in movement and reflection is unveiled through a collage of cultures, mediums, techniques and styles. Rich on symbolism presents you the contradictions of nature and the fragile symbiosis between the individual and the collective with its continuous search for the necessary balance, in each special scenario, of the physical, psychological and emotional values.
His work is a dialogue between figures and space, the rough spatula work in acrylic combined with the delicate ink drawings (line based), and the freedom to use a thin brush work or a distorted shape interested in the texture and nature of the material or the symbolic meaning of the composition.
