Ekaterina Fasolko

I am an artist based in Singapore who specialises in acrylic and water-colour paintings. My two favourite genres are abstract (specifically, abstract landscapes), and botanicals.

I believe in nurturing creativity by daily practice. Inspiration is born of diligence and discipline, and this is what allows me to always feel the muse and connection to my art.

Incidental muse visits me, too, specifically in moments of bright emotional state. Reading literature often causes a feeling of epiphany. Have you read Stephen King or Stanislaw Lem? I am sometimes inspired by specific ideas their books ( and not only theirs, of course!) offer. This connection between my art and books is valuable to me.
