Gustavo Juarez

I was born in 1982 in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala, at the beautiful and inspiring Lake Atitlán. I studied graphic design and arts in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. 2013 I moved to Austria where I live and work since then.

My migration to Austria changed my work fundamentally, since then I focused on utopist paintings of dreams, turning to fantastic realism.

I have participated and won in art competitions in Austria, Guatemala, Ecuador and Germany, among others. My work belongs to private collections in the USA, Guatemala, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain.
