Luciana Brux

My painting speaks of my experiences, states, emotions, a deep and infinite explorations beyond the limits.

I choose the path of lyrical, informal or emotional abstraction, versatility and ambiguity without certainties.

The colours vibrate in a random and intuitive game in which I am talking to myself and dancing with my unconsciousness. The trace of my essence is in each brushstroke. Entering a state of concentration, letting the unconscious arise, playing with the cathartic, suffering changes, going through what appears, letting go of what disappears.

Not knowing how the piece is going to end is both stressful and plaisant.

I give prominence to the process of construction-destruction. The marks of the above are evident, like the scars of what has been lived, because everything is a part of it.

I perceive a certain beauty, a certain aesthetic sense, painting helps me express myself differently, perhaps completing my everyday communication, the known language that is not enough.
The process of materializing art is a conversation with myself.
