Matteo Lama

I live and work in Lido Adriano small town near Ravenna (in Italy), I studied in the school for the mosaic of Ravenna always at Ravenna, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in painting. In 1997 I created the painting Metacosmica: starting from metaphysics and expanding the concepts of surrealism symbolic, I created the paintings between myth and cosmic dimension with moons and planets, creating scenarios between reality and imagination. I paint mainly in oil on canvas, then often use veils of color even at large backgrounds, as the ancients did. The latest works are more oriented to a fairy-tale dream world.
