Артем Микрюков

Artyom Mikryukov was born in Kirov, Russia, in 1990. He graduated from the art university with a degree in painting and, having bought a camera in his second year of study, began photographing.

He traveled the world a lot by hitchhiking, meeting and communicating with people, while simultaneously filming documentary stories about them. In total, he hitchhiked about 10,000 kilometers with his camera and a small backpack

He worked as a freelancer with Reuters, The Economist, ARTE, etc. Mikryukov's works have been published in The New York Times, The Economist, ARTE, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Reuters, Le Figaro, Al Jazeera and other publications.
