Patrick Boyd

Patrick Boyd is an artist working with time and motion in space. The spectator is presented with many ways of viewing, the eye roams the imagery and is presented with an experience that is futuristic but exudes nostalgia.

His works are an eclectic mix of photography, holography, art & science. His narrative language borrows from the industrial and the bucolic. Combining all with installation, he creates imagery that is both compelling and emotive.

His works of captured sequences blur the boundaries between two & three dimensions. He presents a colourful world where real life, narrative, light & shadow, time and motion collide.
