Robert Marcus Klump

I like art that stimulates my spirit, so I hope that my photographs stimulate yours. I was born in New York in 1971. Ever since my first photography class in 1983 in Graz I was keen on exploring the possibilities in which analogue and digital equipment can be used in order to create photographs that are aesthetic yet also unusual in one way or another.

1983
Attended a two day photography class in Graz

1992-1999
Member of the ‘Club der Amateurfotografen’ (‘Club of amateur photographers’) in Graz

2010
Started analogue experiments with a technique that I call ‘Organic Random Photography’ (‘ORP’)

2011
Combined digital infrared photographs with ‘High Dynamic Range’ (HDR)

2013
Developed techniques which I call ‘Fotocubism‘ and ‘Caleidoscopedia‘ and experimented with ‘Revolog‘-films

2015
Expanded my photographic experience by attending professional photography classes at 'LIK Academy for Photography and Design' in Vienna

2012
Had ten 'Organic Random Photography' images exhibited in ‘artspace 191’ in Vienna

2014
– Had 'Organic Random Photography' images exhibited in London at the ‘ Mock-Up Store Oxford Street: The 1st Experience’
– Displayed photographic art as part of the ‘‘Q202 Freie Kunst- und Kulturinitiative" ('Q202 free art and culture initiative') in Vienna

2016
– Displayed works in Vienna as part of the ‘artwalk18 2016' and again the ‘'Q202'

2017
– Had four of his works displayed in the renowned ‘Vertikale Gallerie’ in Vienna as part of the exhibition ’70 Jahre Verbund – 70 Jahre Zukunft’ (’70 years Verbund – 70 years future’)

2019
Displayed a representative selection of his photo art at the ‘‘Kunst zu Recht" (‘art to law’) initiative in Vienna
