Sylvie Ringer is a Canadian / German visual artist currently based in Hamburg,Germany and Vancouver,Canada.
"The context of my work drives from two main forces. A personal, intuitive and visceral experiencing of my immediate surrounding and actual objects, places, legends and historical facts that I choose. Together they form an associative narrative.
My works can be seen as soul landscapes, a descriptive scene evokes the subconscious in details that break the idyll."
