Alma Sheik

Was born in Suriname (1958) lived for long time in HOLLAND. Since 1994 living in Itally-Tuscany- Lucca).

I began as a self-taught painter, later take private lesson from Jan Willem Post, a local artist (painter) Heemstede- Haarlem. the Netherlands 1984-1994. Mostly abstract .
In Tuscany had lessons from the well known impressionist Antonio Vignocchi. (2001 - ......) impressionism.
From 2020 with the covid , changed my style. and inspired by the Venetian mosaics. My works are now dots, collage, mono prints and always explore other technics. see my last works.
