Louise Gillard

I am a painter and teacher, living in south west London. My work is largely inspired by my immediate surroundings, whether it is the busy market and commons near my home in Battersea or the harbour side and coastline of the West Country where I grew up.

I paint mostly plein air directly from the subject but often take small studies back into the studio to create larger works.
