I transform observed reality into emotional, atmospheric paintings shaped by light, memory and inner states.
My work explores a metaphysical dimension of nature, where colour, texture and light become carriers of meaning.
I work in oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well as mixed media, building tactile, light-responsive surfaces using layered paint, sand, metallic pigments and Vicol glue. My practice moves fluidly between traditional painterly methods — glazing and imprimatura — and expressive, textured surfaces.
Inspired by nature, memory and the experience of place, I create contemporary landscape, abstract landscape and symbolic still life compositions.
Rather than documenting what is seen, I translate it into colour, structure and atmosphere — inviting contemplation and emotional connection.
Each painting is designed as an interior-ready work that responds to light and space, while carrying a deeper, introspective narrative.
LANDSCAPE
Landscape is a central theme in my practice, developed towards contemporary, abstract and expressive interpretations.
I focus on the essence of landscape rather than its literal appearance — horizon, depth, atmosphere and silence.

I was born on 24 September 1970 in Rzeszów, Southern Poland. In 1990 I graduated from the State High School of Arts in Rzeszów. In the years 1990-1995 I continued my studies at the department of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1995 I received my degree summa cum laude in painting under the supervision of Professor Jan Szancenbach, and a degree in drawing under the supervision of Professor Sławomir Karpowicz. Since 1995 I have been a member of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers. Throughout my whole artistic career I have supported charitable organisations and foundations, such as: the Children Foundation “On Time with Help” (“Zdążyć z Pomocą”); the Foundation for the Myeloma Treating Centre (Centrum Leczenia Szpiczaka), and the Art Transfer Foundation.
