Lucia Alberti

Why I paint on canvas. From a young age, I was always immersed in my thoughts about fantasy places. In order to make these visions part of my reality, I used to make dimensional scenes as a hobby, which was encouraged by my family. As an adult, I owned a display business, where we designed and provided the major holiday décor programs to the shopping center industry. This was a marvelous career, as these fantasy exhibits would leave the drawing board and enter the world of reality for countless numbers of shoppers to view and enjoy.
Now retired, I focus mainly on painting landscapes created in my imagination incorporating subjects I find of interest as I strive to capture a glimpse of them upon my canvas in a realistic representation.
In 2018, I felt I was ready to exhibit, and since have shown my work widely in galleries here on Long Island. Now I would like to share my art with a larger audience.
