I'm an italian artist based in Venice. I'm very interested in the way art is intwined with real life, becoming the trace of our own emotional being. I see art as a mirror reflecting our inner insight, and I use it as a travel journal. My main way of expression is painting. I usually like to use oil paint on canvas. I’ve started to add embroidery on my canvases as well, finding the visual effect quite interesting and enjoy very much the act of embroidery itself: it is a slow process and my thoughts manage to slow down with it. It is quite like a meditation for me. I also very much like collage. I enjoy creating a surface to allow the eyes to move around: our real world is made of things being there quite by chance, but with their own harmony and I seek to represent this by the collage technique.
