Elena Lipkowski

I merge digital collage with hand embroidery to capture moments along life’s journey. As a mixed media artist working between time and place, I refine pixels alongside thread, through layering, adjusting, and stitching until the essence of a work reveals itself. My process follows the rhythm of my breath: inhale, exhale; mouse left, mouse right; needle in, needle out. It becomes a meditative choreography of light and touch.

I am drawn to the tension between digital and analog, the tangible and the ephemeral, the past and present. In this liminal space, everything feels quieter and more expansive. I invite viewers into that space with me, to slow their breath, release tension, and soften their gaze. Together, we move toward a place of stillness, where perception shifts and something deeper comes into view.

My work explores a truth that is both personal and universal, something felt more than spoken. It is grounded in calm, curiosity, and acceptance. Within that acceptance, I look for a kind of equilibrium: a trust that whatever comes next can be met with steadiness.
