RECOGNITION
Philip Boville is a British artist whose work explores the human experience through painting, drawing and the worlds that shape our lives.
For more than four decades, Philip worked within the British steel industry while maintaining a lifelong commitment to art. Over time, however, his attention shifted from the structures of industry to the people within them. He began to recognise that the experiences he had witnessed — uncertainty, discovery, knowledge, responsibility, trust, endurance and reflection — were not confined to industry at all.
