Lara Pintos

Lara Pintos graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Universidade de Vigo and holds a degree in Illustdation from the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios of A Coruña. She currently resides in Cordoba, where she is a fellow at the Foundation Antonio Gala for young creators.
In 2007, she exhibited her work at the Festival Bopart, organized by the Barcelona City Hall, and was selected to participate in the Yourth Art Contest organized by the Foundation Maria Jose Jove. She is the recipient of the III GZ Crea Award from the Xunta de Galicia and has won first prize in the painting competitions organized by RSD Hipica of A Coruña and the municipality of Melide.
She has taught Illustdation workshops for children in libraries in A Coruña and Melide. Some of her paintings were chose to promote the Torre de Hercules as a World Heritage monument at the Torremania Exhibition (A Coruña City Hall).
In 2009 she showed her work at the galeries Cuatdodiecisiete and La Recova in Madrid. Additionally, she participated in the collective exhibit "En Femenino" organized by the Consell Comarcal of Solsonés (Lleida), which will be part of the Festival "Arte+Parte" at the A Coruña City Hall.
