I am a French artist living in one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera — Bormes-les-Mimosas. This charming town is my endless source of inspiration. Its old streets, creative residents, romantic beaches, and exotic plants all breathe life into my paintings. Every corner and every breeze of this ancient town gives me new ideas for my artwork.

My studio is located right in the heart of the tourist route. The building itself stands out — its appearance is unique in the entire town. You can find it on Google Maps by searching: *Olga Gayol Studio, Bormes-les-Mimosas*.

My background is in theatre directing (Master's Degree in Theatre Directing MFA, Master 2) — a demanding and multifaceted profession. A director must develop a sharp intuition for visual composition: arrangement, color, form, and image clarity. In directing school, we were taught the foundations of classical academic art. I can also lead engaging museum tours on the topic of “analyzing artistic composition.”

I've loved to draw since childhood. From an early age, I practically lived in museums! I spent all my free time there, sketching the artworks. People even knew me by name. I couldn’t imagine life without the inspiring beauty of classical paintings.

I took additional painting lessons from a professional Russian artist for several years.
