Volodymyr Tsyupko was born on October 22, 1936 in the village of Yosypivka, Kirovohrad Oblast. He received his art education at the Odesa State Art School (1956-1961) and at the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after V. Mukhinoi (1964-1970, faculty of monumental and decorative painting). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). Member of the NAM National Association of Artists (1993). Honorary member of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy". Member of creative association "Mamay" (1998). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2001). Lives and works in Odessa. He started his creative and exhibition activities in the 1960s. He took an active part in unofficial "apartment" exhibitions in the 70s in Odessa and Moscow. Participant of the unofficial exhibition "Modern Art from Ukraine. Munich–London–New York–Paris” (1979). In the 1970s and 1980s, he worked in the field of easel painting and original graphics. He spends a lot of time and energy working on works of monumental and decorative art. Permanent member of the Artistic Council of the monumental painting shop. In the 1980s, he demonstrated his works at modern art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The works of Volodymyr Tsyupk are kept in the collections of the National Art Museum of Ukraine (Kyiv), the Museum of Modern Fine Arts of Ukraine (Kyiv), the Museum of Modern Art of Odessa, the Museum of Modern Art of Khmelnytskyi, the Odesa Art Museum, the Odesa Literary Museum, the Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum, in the collections of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", Zimmerli Museum (New Jersey, USA), galleries NT-art (Odesa), "Karas", "Soviart" (Kyiv), Art-kafedra (Lutsk), in private collections in Ukraine and beyond its borders.
