Daniela Reis

Sometimes I could start painting and never finish, there is always another canvas, a character, a story, a brushstroke of color that requires taking shape.
It is an infinite process of creation and transformation, in a rhythm of correspondence between the world that inhabits me and the outside.
I am interested in exploring a side of the experience that goes beyond the immediate relationship with objects, physicality and the flesh itself.
I compulsively paint several works simultaneously and it's curiosity, urgency and pleasure that guide my rhythm.
I am strongly influenced by what I read and my personal experiences.
