Henry Aziengbe is a contemporary Nigerian artist whose practice spans both painting and sculpture, unified by a deep commitment to storytelling, spirituality, and cultural identity. His art is defined by a figurative yet expressive style that blends realism with symbolism, inviting viewers into narratives that explore the human spirit, faith, tradition, and resilience.

Whether on canvas or in sculptural form, Henry’s works often engage with biblical stories, tribal culture, and universal human experiences. His paintings use vibrant acrylics to capture scenes of hope, struggle, and revelation, while his sculptures—crafted primarily from cement and metal—extend these same themes into powerful three-dimensional forms. Born in Benin City, Edo State, he discovered his love for drawing and sculpting at a young age and went on to study Fine and Applied Arts at the College of Education, Ekiadolor-Benin.
