Nigel is a professional Wolverhampton England, based Fine Artist married to Caron for Thirty Three years, with two children, Simone (Artist) and Noah (Actor). Nigel originates from Letchworth Garden City England. Born in Hitchin in 1949. Nigel trained as a precision engineer for ICL computers in Letchworth Hertfordshire England, moving on to Leeds in 1971 where he was inspired by local artists to study Fine art history and portraiture; Nigel developed fantastic drawing skills through commissions and life study. He primarily works with brushes, oils and acrylic paint. Van Gough is one of many influences along with Carlo Carra and dichirico, Leonardo Da Vinci, Turner, Gainsborough, Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud. Vincent Van Gough is admired because of his technique of applying paint from the tube to the canvas. Nigel is meticulous and pure with colour; his original art is therapeutic and high in definition. The ongoing series of paintings elements of 3 D are entitled so because of the kinetic illusion that his art has on the viewer. The Full moon oil on canvas is enchanting. Copyright De...
