Art has the power to give strength, beauty, calm, and joy. My art practice is devoted to above focus as a counterpoint to life's challenges. Life is precious. Inspiration derives from gratitude to the individuals and organizations working as healers. Every positive step is a move towards a gentler world.

I have been a faculty member at Silvermine Art Center, attained a BFA from Rutgers University (studied with artist and historian, Leon Golub), an MFA from City College, and an Ed.M. at Columbia University’s Teachers College.
I also took classes at the Art Students League, secured a one-year scholarship at New York Academy of Art, and continues both teaching and study indefinitely.
