Yuezhu Chen

Yuezhu Chen, an artist from China . She currently lives and works in London, England . Her works are mainly about paintings .
In her paintings, she focuses on the themes of psychology. Exploring new artistic languages has became her most representative practice in painting creation from 2017. With challenging traditional perceptions of the genre, Yuezhu was able to work a combination of abstraction and figurative, the subtle relationship between figure and ground, which inspired with her studying in symmetry, subconscious, and unconscious. Meditation and dreaming, two significant elements effected in her work process. She hopes that viewer can build a hidden power through the narratives.
