Anne Davey Orr

I have worked throughout my career as a sculptor, mosaicist, film maker, painter and writer. My introduction to film making was through the director Peter Watkins for whom I worked as a student on the films Culloden and The War Game. My introduction to writing was through BBC, The Guardian and The Irish Times. My introduction to sculpture was through Eric Schilsky in Edinburgh and to painting through Mark Ainsworth at Belfast College of Art.

Belfast College of Art. I won the Royal Dublin Society Taylor Award for sculpture. Edinburgh College of Art: I was awarded two Andrew Grant travelling scholarships, a Post Graduate Scholarship and a Royal Scottish Academy Best Group of Works Award. I was awarded an Irish Arts Council scholarship to study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna. At the University of the Arts London I completed a Masters in Fine Art.
