Three Muses

3MUSES is an artist working from her studio in Ancoats, Manchester.

A background in Fine Art, she works in oil paint, pencil, charcoal, screen print and large scale murals, and a lot of her artwork is influenced by art history, portraiture and nature.

She also finds inspiration in street art, typography, rave culture, graphic design and literature so tries to merge these styles and cultures together to create eye-catching art that is bright, detailed and multi-layered.

3MUSES studied Art & Design from the age of 16 and went on to complete a Fine Arts degree from DeMontfort University.

She started her own clothing line from home, at the same time as working as a graphic designer creating clothing print design for various high street brands.

3MUSES wanted a more personal creative outlet, and started an apprenticeship in tattooing in 2008, later opening her own appointment-only studio in 2013.

She continues to paint in oils and spraypaint at her studio in Ancoats, occasionally taking art classes/workshops to improve her skills and knowledge.
