Alexandra Jirickova

After graduating from the Prague Academy, I continued to work on realistic images with predominantly figural subjects. These images balance the borders of dreams and reality. I created their themes according to my inner vision. Accordingly, I searched for real-world artwork for the environment of an image, whether it be the characters of people, animals or a place where action takes place. I was often inspired by the city of Prague where I live, and Venice, which I have visited several times. This series of paintings is presented as Day Dreaming.

I deal mainly with oil painting and watercolor painting. I also teach drawing and painting techniques.
