Anders Wollin

Born in 1973 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Wanted to be an artist from the age of nine.

I love the art of the masters uptil some time of the sixties (I guess) where Andy Warhol and others made their entrance.
That was the expression of nihilism taking over not only modern welfare-politics but also art.
Bad bad bad.
Until then our civilisation still had a clear goal, now it hasn't, and you see that more than any place in the artworld (where you should find the opposite, something to look up to! But I guess the world has turned up-side-down totally).

Preparatory artschool of Halmstad 92-95.
Due to the trends of installations and conceptual art, I had to leave the realm of artschools and go my own way.
Since start I have been living on my art, now for 12 years.

I have exbhited all over Sweden and in Paris, Los Angeles, and Wassenaar in Holland.,
