Ann Dunbar

Born in Hampshire England 1953.Married with no children. She enjoys travelling, ballroom dancing, gardening,painting and interior design.

She lives near Paris,in France, where she has been awarded many prizes for her unique work.(See web site link)

Ann taught Art& Design for 16 years before she became a full time professional artist. Specializing in textiles she devoted a lot time experimenting with new methods, especially incororating embroidery onto paper.

The multitude of stitches which Ann embellishes her atmospheric water colour background is so stunning and compelling that you can understand why Ann persisted for years to master this magical alliance.

Ann will be representing France in Palenque museum of Maya, Mexico, from March 23 to April 2nd 2023, for the "Water for life exhibition", organised by curators, Angelina Herrara and Antoine Gaber. Different artists from around the world will be interpreting the theme of clean drinking water issues.
