Brian Billings

Brian Billings is a contemporary artist living in Arizona. As a child he developed an interest in art and it wasn’t long before he combined this interest with technology. He pursued graphic design throughout high school and college, even though many family dinner conversations debated the struggle of the life of an artist. Billings continued to pursue his passion and soon his interest shifted to painting when a college color theory course inspired him to explore acrylics. He began developing his own unique style as an abstract artist. A style that expresses bold lines and vibrant colors which quickly engage viewers.
Like many artists, he continues to pursue the use of mediums. He began on canvas and has shifted to sculptural paintings, adding depth to his artwork. Continuing his bold lines and unique style, he has expanded on the narrative of his works by highlighting a common theme of daily struggles.
Two sides to every story, is the concept behind his latest artwork. His work expresses moving forward and getting past what is front of you to combine two conflicting stories in one painting.
