The use and application of colour are signatures of Emma’s work, drawing inspiration from the great impressionists, Van Gogh and Monet. Emma’s work is shaped by her interests in neo-classical mythology and medieval history, which feature heavily within her body of work and give her pieces a surrealist fantasy feel. Her work embraces the aspects of the past but is composed using modern technology.
