How can be said the wonders of man since the original fall ?
Left to himself without any hereafter, lost in the maze of his blurred reflections, in the vertigo of his images that keep on shattering or collapsing.
Man stands blinded and tries to pick up the pieces... History being in slow agony - he is desperate to write it. He is rotting matter and cries the hell of his lost illusions, the unapprochoable dream of his eternity.
How can be said, on canvas or on paper, the crack of sense ?
By periods of discontinuity and relative durations, failing and keeping on, how to mark rhythms in the course of events, where in every failing there is the crave for broadening and broadening again the scope of the limits of the unnamable.
By revealing the gesture of breaking apart and bringing together the broken up bodies, in the space where they are being torn apart.
By stapling and pasting the paper, to figure and let the image occur.
And maybe catching someone's eye and meeting with his approval, for a short while, with a fearful community, an identity...
