Born 1960 in Dundee Scotland
Now residing in the historic town of Dunkeld in scenic Perthshire, Scotland: My artistic influences come from the work of Mark Rothko and W Turner. Abstract and minimalism play an important role in my work.
I am a self taught artist, formally known as John Downie now painting under the name John Trevorrow:
My main inspirations come from the coastlines and dramtic skies of my home country Scotland.
My work has been described as very tranquil and peaceful with fresh vibrant flowing colours.
