Jairo And Nicola

Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green create imagery together through the mediums of digital, silkscreen, linocut, collage and three dimensional art.

From found objects (wood, scrap metal and old Victorian doors) to site specific installation and interactive performance, they have sought to free the medium of printmaking from its usual conventions and bring it to greater life.

Our present work provides a platform for our fascination with:

(i) alternating mental states as depicted in literature and the arts
(ii) the boundary between what is real and imagined
(iii) interacting with communities to provide expressive and immersive experiences
(iv) the exploration of combining digital, silkscreen and collage to compliment our ongoing projects

All our projects are interlinked and continue to progress and expand over the duration of time.
