Jillian Pate

Jillian Pate is steel sculptor exploring connectivity and synergy of all material things through abstraction. Influenced by music theory and patterns of order and disorder frequently observed in the natural and physical sciences, her work takes shape through the study of musical fugues and cannons as well as entropy, rhythm and recursion in nature; DNA, proteins and the genetic code.
