Jim Davis

I have been a professorial artist in central Florida since 2000
I am a Sculpture, Painter, Mold maker and Fabricator. The materials I use are resins both rigid and flexible, as well as translucent clears, silicone's, paints, fiberglass, metal, and wood among others.
My art and my commissioned works can be seen at all of the major Theme parks in central Florida as well as Disney Tokyo Japan, Universal Beijing China, and Disneyland California.
My goal is to create more original works of art that are available the public.

I am a self-taught artist. I was first influenced by my grandfather to create 3-D works of art from wood and paint. He was a carpenter by trade and my grandmother who was an architect. Over the last 23 years I have been fortunate to work on projects side by side with many of the sculptors and painters who created the iconic sculptures we still see in central Florida`s theme parks today.
I developed an eye for detail at an early age. My mother owned an antique shop in Tampa Fla where I was taught to recognize and seek out works of art by artiest like Tiffany, Lalique glass, Wedgwood pottery, Chippendale furniture etc.
