Kristika is a multimedia artist who began her artistic journey with photography. This long journey of finding herself and her style took her through different mediums: illustration, animation, collage. Until it led her to generative graphics.
"I use artificial intelligence and my own drawings for my work. It allows me to expand the scope of my imagination. Now I can free myself from labels and create something really new."
Her artwork is about self-discovery, confronting destructive mindsets and striving for freedom. In her art she seeks answers to the questions what does it mean to be yourself? How does one find one's identity? How to break away from societal attitudes and stereotypes without retreating into hermitage?
"The basis of my work is scientific data on psychology, reinterpreted and passed through the experience of my childhood traumas.
I am inspired by solitary walks, in which I manage to go deep into self-reflection. I also get a lot of inspiration from travelling. They give my mind space to be in the present."
