Laz Kalogirou

Lazaros was born in 1980 in the Greek town of Ioannina. He is half cypriot.

His first contact with art was in the local artistic workshop, where he became a student of the known painter Eleni Botsiou.
He studied Painting in the School of Fine Arts of Athens, in the workshop of professor Anastasios Christakis. He graduated in September 2005.

He has been creating and exhibiting ever since.

Lazaros lives and creates his artworks with love in Leeds, UK.

Athens School of Fine Arts

- In November 2005,first group exhibition at the building of the Graduate Union of Athens School of Fine Arts.
- In March 2006 first individual exhibition at the Culture Center of Ioannina, where at the opening day, the world known sculptor Pavlos Vrellis (creator of the Pavlos Vrellis famous wax museum of history), spoke about his paintings.
- In June 2006 he represented Greece in a European painters meeting in Zagubitsa of Serbia, in a cultural festival, invited by the Greek-Serbian Friendship Association in Ioannina. The paintings that were created during the meeting, have been exhibited in cities throughout Europe.
- In June 2006, annual group exhibition of the graduates of Athens School of Arts, at the hall “Nikos Kessanlis” that is seated at the School of Arts.
- In September 2006, second individual exhibition was organized at Gallery K in Cyprus, in the city of Nicosia.
- In February 2007, group exhibition at Gallery K in Cyprus.
- In May 2007, group exhibition for the presentation of the creations of Cyprus’ painters by the International Merchandising Center, the Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cypriot Employers and Industrialist Federation, during Business Show 2007, at the IMC exhibition hall...
