The core of Michael Ehrhardts work ist the illustration of the essence of inner conditions. Therefore he uses a specifically developed symbolism which ascribes animals a central meaning.

The beholders access to the work is always the title. From this starting point everyone is encouraged to come in contact with the piece and give it a indiviual meaning. It's intended that some works seem to raise more questions than they provide answers.

Ehrhardts art is a kind of communication with the piece, and therby with the artist, as well as an entrance to the beholders subconscious.
