My art revolves around expressionism and minimalism. I begin painting with bold gestural marks and as the piece moves along, the marks get less frequent and a little more thought out. I am mostly a self thaught artist but have done mentorships and a few advanced classes in etching, photography and painting. I have been painting for more than fifteen years and very intensely in the last five years.
My greatest influencew are by Cy Twombly, Joan Mitchell, Grace Hartigan and Jason Pollock.
I have exhibited my figurative works many times in group and solo exhibitions but this collection of abstract paintings has never been shown until now.
