Natalie Ola

Natalie Ola is a brand name of an artist living and working in the Helsinki metropolitan region of Finland. She creates out of the comfort of her home which allows her to stay close around her three beloved children, as well as enjoy a large water pond area and massive starling murmurations over it right in front of her studio windows.

Natalie works with acrylics, oil pastels and charcoal, as well as digital medium Procreate. Her works aspire to be alive with color and movement, echoing the textures and rhythms of urban life—layers of spray paint, vibrant colors, and bold brushstrokes—yet juxtaposed with organic motifs like flowers, leaves, and animal forms, which weave through the compositions like nature reclaiming its space in the chaos.

Natalie is a self-taught artist that dreamed of painting early in her childhood as an outlet for deep and intense emotions. The need to create peace has always been a priority. Natalie says, “I aspire to paint concepts. The concept of partnership— how the two or more grow together, shaping up the strengths in each other and becoming more like each other while maintaining strongly defined boundaries and identity.
