Peter Brandon

I studied at the London School of Printing and Graphic Art achieving an Hons diploma in Art and Design. Through a career including membership and fellowship of two professional graphic design societies I came to own and creatively direct one of London's premier design groups specialising in corporate design for some of the UK's leading blue chip companies. In 2002, at the age of fifty-nine I retired leaving graphic design to a younger generation and taking a path long desired, to that of becoming an artist. In the time since this career move a considerable amount of interest has been expressed in my paintings with an exhibition in the West End of London and exhibitions in the south east as well as several commissions from private collections.

Having moved recently and now living near to the coast in South Devon, I am much influenced by the sea and sky. These elements are often exaggerated into fanciful storms which lash against an abstract structure or landscape.
