Sandra J Porter Rwa

I am A Painter and Printmaker.Born in Bath in 1957, I graduated from Chelsea's MA Painting course in 1981. Since then I have worked as an Artist and Lecturer in Fine Art and Printmaking. I am now a full time artist and I run printmaking workshops in my studio. My work is concerned with colour and significant form. I am influenced by American and European abstract artists such as Sol Lewit Sean Scully as well as the art and architecture of the early Italian Renaissance. It is primarily geometric, incorporating pattern and repetition. My latest work is a response to the corrugated iron dwellings on The Isle of Skye.
