I started painting as a hobby, in 2011, after quitting the corporate world. I work with a range of art and craft forms and media including Acrylics, Charcoals & Pastels, Mandalas & Doodle-art, Indian Folk-Art, Decoupage, etc.
I am fascinated by the deep symbolism of The Tree of Life and, hence, abundant trees, leaves and flowers have been the subjects of most of my work. I have recently started exploring abstract art forms.
I find the process of creating art and craft to be highly therapeutic and addictive. Also, very energising when it involves upcycling and re-purposing everyday household objects.
As an Integrative Therapist and Life Skills Trainer, I adopt a Mind-Body approach that includes drawings and metaphors for diagnosis as well as for therapeutic benefit.
MBA, Bachelors in Maths and Psychology and PGD in Counselling & Family Therapy
Exhibited at community level art & craft fairs in India
