Soheyl Bastami

Soheyl Bastami, a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist, was born in Iran in 1987. With a degree in Graphic Design, his passion for sculpture emerged early on, leading him to self-teach the art of sculpting with wood and metal in 2009. Bastami primarily works with figurative sculptures, capturing the essence of human existence and exploration. His creations reflect the intricacies of the human experience, delving into the profound search for knowledge and self-discovery. Through his art, Bastami aims to evoke introspection and contemplation, inviting viewers to delve into the depths of their own human nature.
